ABOUT WILL, YOUR PERSONAL TRAINER

What's my background?

Training should excite you. It should be a little daunting. It should put some fear in you but at the same time be fun and always have some new challenge to it.

A lot of people like to just push their limits through the same form of training year after year. If that works for them, then I'm all for it. The thing is I've never been someone who enjoys straightforward running, but if you add that running into a relay race or in bouldering up a mountain, and count me in. Training should never bore you and if it does, then there's one more reason to give up on it.


Yet, no matter how you train, I find that through training hard, seriously hard, the body can and will adapt if you force it to through pushing your limits.

A few of the ways I've pushed and tested myself:

  • Climbed the tallest mountains in the Northeast in blizzards

  • 1st dan (black belt) in the Korean martial art of So Bahk Do

  • Competed twice in the 196 mile Ragnar Relay race

  • 4-time national sumo wrestling competitor

  • Trained in Japan to properly learn the right way to sumo in 2014

I've been actively training clients of all ages and backgrounds since 2010 and graduated in 2013 from Springfield College with a BS in Applied Exercise Science.

Most people I've worked with just want to look good. At first, they don't care about being able to do anything that extraordinary. Over our time training together, I make it my job to show you that you can have that body you've desperately wanted for so long AND can do amazing things with it.
